I've learned A LOT from books. There's a reason so many of the people I look up to recommend reading - it's the best way to take in new information without distraction, and it's a good way to unwind.

There's a way you can get MORE done in LESS time with LESS stress. Not only will it take less time but the end product will be of a higher quality. You'll get further in the areas you actually want to pursue and waste less time on the meaningless things.

"You need to find your own sound!" Yeah thanks captain obvious, we know. How do we find our own sound? How do we create music that stands out from everybody else's? I've got a few tips that might help.

I went and flipped the new(ish) one from Alison Wonderland & Trippie Redd. I loved the vocal in this one, and the build into the drop brings so much tension. I wanted to give it something a little heavier to fall into :) I tried messing with some more 'bass house' kinda sounds over my usual half time drum rhythms.

I'm low key proud of how my remix collection looks these days lol :) I'm a graphic designer by day so I know the importance of branding, but I'm also a compulsive creator who gets get carried away with new ideas every day so I find it hard to stick to one theme. Good branding is actually restrictive in a way, which almost feels counterintuitive because as an artist you don't want to box yourself in. I've always broken my own rules when it comes to my own branding, but I think I've finally settled on something I can live with now and its feeling pretty cohesive.
